The holiday season can be touted as a time for family, love, and cherished memories. And what better way to capture those special moments than with a family photo session? That said, the Ennis family joined me for my annual Christmas Tree Farm mini-sessions, and it was nothing short of magical.

A Picture-Perfect Setting

This year, I chose the picturesque Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm as my backdrop for mini-sessions. Nestled near the serene waters of Jordan Lake, this family-owned farm is all one could want for those classic Christmas card moments. Tall pine trees with twinkling lights and cozy winter-the atmosphere is just pure magic.

A Family of Joy

The moment little Maxine and Luisa began toddling up to me, I knew we were in for a fun-filled session. The Ennis family exudes warmth and love, and the infectiousness of this energy truly makes the experience a true joy. They were so easy to work with, and their genuineness with one another came through in every shot.

Golden Hour Magic

We started our session a little before sunset to take full advantage of the soft, golden light that casts a magical glow on all that it touches. This family posed with ease; their love and affection for one another was palpable in every shot. Little Maxine and Luisa were natural models, responding to prompts with enthusiasm and confidence. The backlight from sunset created an absolutely stunning backdrop, adding a touch of warmth and wonder in the photos.
