A Decade Behind the Camera

I've spent more than 10 years photographing babies and growing families, and I've learned that newborn photography isn't about getting a baby to behave perfectly. It's about patience, safety, connection, and knowing when to slow down.

Your Baby's Safety Comes First

Newborn photography is a specialized skill, and your baby's safety will always be more important than getting the perfect shot. I'm safety trained, insured, and experienced in working with newborns. Sessions are baby-led, never rushed, and include plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles.

I'm based in Raleigh, NC, and photograph newborns and growing families throughout Raleigh and surrounding Triangle communities. I became a newborn photographer because there is something incredibly special about those first few weeks with a new baby. They're exhausting, messy, emotional, and completely magical and they go by far too quickly.

I was exhausted, unsure, and just trying to make it through the day … photos felt like one more thing to figure out. I know what it feels like to be completely in love with your baby and completely exhausted at the same time. Those first weeks are beautiful, but they're also a blur.

That's part of why I became a newborn photographer. I wanted to create photographs that didn't just show what your baby looked like but brought you right back to how this season felt.

Now I get to be the person who steps in and says, “I’ve got this!”  
You can relax, breathe, and walk away with images that feel like your baby’s first love story.
